Dr. Samira Anderson practiced as a clinical audiologist for 26 years before she entered the Ph.D. program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University in 2007. After finishing her Ph.D., she joined the faculty of the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland in January of 2013. She now directs the Hearing Brain Lab, where she has continued studies of auditory aging, and she teaches Audiology students.
