I was trained as a UK Doctor and worked in General Practice and Medical Education in between having children and dragging them up with a degree of healthy neglect. They survived into adulthood but will assert that I can't cook or sew. Married for over 30 years I have followed my husband to Bermuda for an almost-retirement couple of years. It was a shock to the children that their parents, previously seen as firmly planted in the Surrey countryside, should up sticks and move to a small island in the middle of the Atlantic - we mentioned it as a possibility in March and came out here in May.
