Richard (Dick) Gustafson worked as a securities registered representative, insurance agent and business consultant for Edward Jones from 1995 - 2000. From 1986 to 1995, Gustafson was a consultant and trainer in negotiations, time management and conflict resolution. Gustafson also was an Eagle County Commissioner in Eagle County, Colorado from 1986 to 1995. Gustafson held various securities-related positions in the banking industry from 1960 to the 1970s. Gustafson attended Stanford University for several years and holds a BA in economics from the University of Nebraska. He received is MBA from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1973 in finance and organizational behavior and graduated from the Colorado University Real Estate Institute in 1985. Gustafson has been a member of the following organizations: The Civil Air Patrol, the Colorado Natural Hazard Task Force, Northwester Council of Governments, Colorado River Water Conservation District, the Rotary Foundation - Vail-Eagle Valley and Rotary International - Vail-Eagle Valley. Gustafson and his wife Wendy 'retired' in 2001 and now enjoy traveling, writing and producing documentaries and being a disc jockey on the Holly Creek Retirement Community radio station HCRK.
